Mike and his team did all the wiring for a big renovation we did 10 years ago in our brownstone. They were fairly priced, came up with creative solutions, and were always very responsive. I recently called him with a small job, and was so happy that he could do it. He gave us a fair estimate, did high quality work, finished in a day and took good care of our space. Highly recommend!

I couldn’t be happier with the work done by Emco! They arrived first thing in the morning with a full team and immediately got to work upgrading my apartment’s electrical panel and wiring for a new tankless water heater. Despite running into some unexpected hurdles, they stayed well in to the evening to ensure the job was completed the same day. Throughout the process they were professional, courteous, and extremely thorough — keeping the workspace neat and explaining what they were doing along the way. The new panel and wiring work perfectly. It’s rare to see a contractor show this much dedication to finishing a job properly. A special shout-out to Adam, the operations manager, who was absolutely invaluable in setting up the project. He was clear and communicative about the scope of work from the start and handled all the coordination with our building’s management to ensure compliance coop requirements. That extra effort made the whole experience seamless and stress-free. I highly recommend Emco to anyone needing reliable, top-quality electrical work!

Mike and his workers did a fantastic job on rewiring my second floor and put my light meters outside. Very professionally and they cleaned up nicely. Would highly recommend. There Assistant Adam is so helpful getting you scheduled and quoted quickly. Loved the work they did for me.

Emco did an awesome job on running new wires and installing all of the lighting for our new kitchen. Amijail and Kourosh were very professional, courteous, and skilled. They artfully ran new wiring through old conduit while removing the old. Several new circuits were added to the box with no problems. Overall they did excellent work. Highly recommend.

Emco Electric did an excellent job moving and installing our new chandelier, as well as installing some additional recessed lighting. The team was knowledgable, personable, and worked quickly and efficiently. Our project was done on time and we're very happy with the quality of the work. Scheduling was also easy and all our questions were answered in a timely manner. Overall, we highly recommend Emco Electric for any residential electrical work in NYC.

Emco are real professionals. They were the third electricians I had come in to fix my lighting issues. The other two passed or just did not have the expertise to take care of my job. The entire team under Mike were very professional and diligent. The job required sourcing parts from outside the US and making sure that it worked with an old Lutron lighting system (to save me having to replace the entire system throughout the apartment). It took me over 15 years to find electricians willing to take on the assignment and I am glad I found Emco. They know what they are doing. They also keep you posted on scheduling and next steps, so you are fully briefed throughout the job. I highly recommend them, especially for any difficult or unusual projects.

EmCo is amazing. Great communication, so much knowledge, fabulous follow up. They installed a difficult dimmer switch, tested all of the outlets and switches thoroughly, mapped out our breaker box, and fixed a few other small electrical problems. They patiently explained what had been installed incorrectly in the past, which was a huge help. We felt SO much better - and safer - after our appointment. HIGHLY RECOMMEND, especially for older houses.

Great experience. This is a very professional company from Andy in administration to Mike, the seasoned, creative problem-solver and supremely competent electrician. I am so grateful to Mike who was able to install all of the antique chandeliers and sconces I'd brought over from Italy.
